Racial Justice in Shia Communities: Moving from Cultural Identity to Principled Solidarity

June 27 @ 6:00 pm 7:30 pm EDT

June 27, 2020
6:00 pm – 7:30 pm EDT
Event Category:

Shia Racial Justice Coalition
Husayn Center for Social Justice

Join us for our first event Saturday, June 27 at 6 PM, cohosted with Husayn Center for Social Justice.

We will be exploring ethnocentrism in Shia communities, as well as Black American Muslim history.

We can’t stand in solidarity with the Black community without first learning what they’ve been through, how they’ve survived, and how their struggle has benefit us.

Alhamdulillah, we are grateful for the 20 organizations who are cosponsoring this event. Please see below full list of cosponsors.
